This gentle course will take you from knowing hardly anything to an entire full wardrobe of doll clothes, in the 14" size. 

You will learn flat construction and simplified methods for assembling doll clothes, which doesn't mean the clothes will be boring.

Beautiful styles, a variety of techniques and outfits, so not only you learn to sew different items but your doll ends up with a complete wardrobe.

An undershirt, underwear, socks, flannel pyjamas, boots with ruffles (or without them), a handy pinafore with ruffles and pockets, a spring blouse with circular yoke and bloomers or shorts, boots with or without ruffles, pants with in-seam pockets and beautiful tshirt with puffy sleeves, a tiered dress that will teach you how to combine fabrics and colours, a lined jacket, an adorable set of overalls with bunny ear straps. 

You will use different fabrics, both knits and wovens, attach snaps, use elastic, line things, finish seams, and have the time of your life. 

Learning to sew doll clothes was my absolute nightmare, and if I learned how to do it alone, you will most certainly will learn with the help of this class.

There is simply no way that you will fear sewing doll clothes after you sew the outfits in all these lessons. The world of doll dressmaking will be your oyster.

FAQ

  • Are the lessons easy for a beginner?

    Yes. We start you easy making underwear using knit fabric and we slowly progress into using facings, circular yokes, linings and even in-seam pockets. You will learn many different sewing techniques for assembly, finishing, decoration and more.

  • Do I need a sewing machine and a serger?

    Yes. A sewing machine is highly recommended but of course you can opt to do everything by hand. I serge all my doll clothes, as it's much faster and very tidy way to finish seams, but you can also zig-zag the seams. The choice is yours.

  • How long do I have to go through my course?

    You have one full year from enrolment to complete your 9 lessons.

  • Can I sell doll clothes made with these lessons?

    Of course you can. I just ask that you state you made them using my pattern. The class content, PDFs and all instruction cannot be resold, shared or distributed in any way. All Rights Reserved.
