FAQ

  • Is this class suitable for a beginner?

Only for a dedicated beginner who is not afraid of felting needles and sewing tiny things, albeit you will have to go slow. The instruction is thorough, with many pdfs provided to guide you.

  • How big are the dolls?

You can find measurements for all of them in the Introduction section for the Woolykins free preview.

  • How long do I have access to this class?

You have an entire year to work through your class, so no rush at all.

  • Can I make these dolls for sale?

No sales are allowed from dolls made using this class.

  • Is the class only in English?

Yes. Next winter I hope to offer it in other languages, starting with Spanish.

Enjoy dollmaking & storytelling

I find that making small dolls will highly encourage your storytelling muscles. Little by little you will start to feel a magical world building around you, with many an opportunity to craft, embellish, sew and tell stories to the loved ones in your life. While The Woolykins live in the forest and spend much of their life working around the seasons, your little Woolykin family can have different dispositions. Perhaps they live in an abandoned boot in the neighbour's garden, a steel bucket hidden in a junk yard or inside a tree hole at Grandma's house. Let your imagination guide you as you work on this little wool family 🍄.

I finished my doll house family

by Martha

I took the beginner doll class and the doll house family class. Loved them both! I learned so much. The doll house class used wire armatures and that was a first for me. Wonderful.
